Privacy policy
This policy describes the website stakra-stats.com, its downloads and the StaKra-Stats app. It is available in full in all supported languages. If the language versions differ, the German version prevails. Last updated: 11 October 2026.
Controller
Raffael Choi, Vienna, Austria, is responsible for the website I operate, the provision of downloads and updates, and the handling of contact requests. I cannot access your app's local game data.
Email: kontakt@stakra-stats.com
I run this project as a private individual, free of charge and without advertising, sponsorship or other income.
At a glance
The website has no sign-in, no forms and no analytics or advertising services integrated by me. The app does not send me match history, usage statistics or automatic crash reports. Technical connection data arises when the website, downloads and updates are requested. If you send me an email or voluntarily submit a bug report, I also process that information.
Website and downloads
Cloudflare delivers the website stakra-stats.com and the downloads at downloads.stakra-stats.com (Cloudflare Pages and Cloudflare R2). I do not operate my own server for this. For every request, Cloudflare processes these technical data:
- IP address
- date and time of the request
- requested page or file and the page you came from (referrer)
- browser and device information (User-Agent)
The legal basis is the legitimate interest in secure and functioning delivery (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). I do not create my own access logs.
Cloudflare
The provider is Cloudflare, Inc., 101 Townsend Street, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA. Processing on my behalf is governed by the data processing agreement under Art. 28 GDPR incorporated into the Cloudflare contract. According to its privacy policy, Cloudflare also processes certain network and security data as an independent controller.
Processing outside the EEA, particularly in the USA, is possible. Transfers to Cloudflare within the scope of its current EU-US Data Privacy Framework certification are covered by the corresponding adequacy decision under Art. 45 GDPR. For other covered transfers, the Cloudflare agreement provides for EU standard contractual clauses. Information and the published safeguards are available through the following links or from my contact address.

Browser storage
The website code sets no cookies for advertising or analytics. When you select a language in the language menu, it is saved under the key "language" in your browser's Session Storage until the browser session ends. The entry is not sent to me. It serves the language selection you requested (Section 165(3) TKG 2021). Without a saved selection, the website uses the language offered by your browser. When protection mechanisms are enabled, Cloudflare may set necessary security cookies. Cloudflare publishes information about them at the following link.
If you write to kontakt@stakra-stats.com, I process your email address, your name where provided, message content, attachments and technical email data to handle your request. Forwarding uses Cloudflare Email Routing, and the mailbox is hosted by OVH (OVH SAS, 2 rue Kellermann, 59100 Roubaix, France). The legal basis is my legitimate interest in answering requests and handling reported bugs (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). The information is voluntary. Without a reply address, I cannot respond by email.
I delete requests once their handling and any necessary follow-up questions are complete and the data is no longer needed for that purpose. I retain the necessary data longer only where a specific legal retention obligation applies or the information is needed to establish, exercise or defend legal claims. The legal basis is then Art. 6(1)(c) or (f) GDPR. There is no blanket retention of all support emails.

The StaKra-Stats app
The app runs on your computer. It has no account and sends no usage data, statistics or crash reports to me.
Data on your computer
The app reads Rocket League's Stats API through a connection that does not leave your computer. Its interface is served by a small web server that is also only reachable on your computer. Devices on your home network can access the interface only if you explicitly start the app in home network mode. When the game starts, the app also reads Rocket League's log (Launch.log in your Documents folder) to identify the account you are logged in with and display its profile. This also stays on your computer.
Settings, profiles, saved matches, the session and your record are stored in the app's user folder. The source of match data is the game's local Stats API. Stored data includes player names, platforms, player IDs, teams, match times and game statistics of teammates and opponents. Older saved matches may also contain previously obtained rank values. The app does not upload these files to me.
"Reset record" removes the selected profile's matches from the active history, but first creates a backup. To erase everything, you must also remove the backup files. Removing a profile does not automatically erase its saved matches. Close the app before completely deleting its user folder. Uninstalling alone does not necessarily remove user data.
The app keeps local diagnostic logs. At approximately 1 MB, main.log is rotated to main.old.log. Data recordings you voluntarily enable can contain the entire Stats API stream, including player names and IDs. Recordings and backups remain stored until you remove them. Logs are not sent automatically. Review and anonymise files before sharing them in a bug report. If you send me such files, the purposes and deletion criteria in the "Email" section apply.
Update checks
The installed app checks downloads.stakra-stats.com for a new version at startup and every hour afterwards. Cloudflare receives the same technical data as when you visit the website, particularly your IP address. On Windows, the app downloads a new version from there. The legal basis is the legitimate interest in quickly fixing bugs and security vulnerabilities (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Ranks via tracker.gg
From version 0.7.0, you can optionally enable ranks and MMR under Settings > Ranks. Lookups are off by default. Previous automatic activation is not carried over. The purpose is to display the ranks of players in the match and your MMR development. Your explicit consent is the basis for your own connection data (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). Consent also covers the required browser storage (Section 165(3) TKG 2021). Local statistics work without this connection. If you are under 14, you need your parents' consent for this (Art. 8 GDPR, Section 4(4) DSG).
When lookups are enabled, Tracker Network (Tracker Network LLC, USA) receives your IP address, browser information and the platforms, names or account identifiers of the players looked up, including teammates and opponents. The embedded browser may contact Cloudflare for a manual security check. Cloudflare also receives connection data and information needed for that check. Tracker and Cloudflare may use cookies and browser storage. The request filter blocks additional advertising and analytics providers in the embedded window. Rank images are bundled locally. Linked websites opened in your own browser follow their own privacy rules.
You can withdraw consent at any time for the future by switching off Settings > Ranks. The app stops further lookups, closes the Tracker window and deletes its cookies, browser storage and cache. Starting with ranks disabled also clears a previous Tracker browser session. Saved matches and MMR values in your local history remain until you remove them. Withdrawal does not erase data already stored by the providers. Their own processing and retention periods are described in the linked privacy policies.
Tracker Network is based in the USA. Its privacy policy mentions neither a certification under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework nor standard contractual clauses. There is therefore no adequacy decision and no appropriate safeguards for the transfer of your data to the USA. The transfer is based on your explicit consent under Art. 49(1)(a) GDPR, which you give by switching the feature on. Possible risks are a level of data protection that is not equivalent to the EU, access by US authorities and greater difficulty enforcing your rights. Older app versions may still look up ranks automatically and load additional third parties. Update to 0.7.0 or later to use the consent and network protection features described here.
Names and account identifiers of your teammates and opponents come from the game's local Stats API. The app sends them directly from your computer to Tracker Network to display the ranks that are publicly visible there. I do not receive this data. The lookup serves your private use while playing, so the exemption for purely personal activities applies (Art. 2(2)(c) GDPR). Tracker Network is responsible for the profiles on tracker.gg.
Tracker Network privacy policy
Recipients
- Cloudflare, Inc. (USA): website and download delivery, app update checks, email forwarding and security checks when optional rank lookups are enabled
- OVH SAS (France): mailbox for emails to the contact address
- Tracker Network LLC (USA): platforms, names or account identifiers of players looked up and connection data, only when optional rank lookups are enabled
I do not sell data. Beyond this, I only disclose it when required by law.
Retention periods
The deletion criteria in the "Email" section apply to contact requests and voluntarily submitted bug reports. Cloudflare does not specify one uniform period for all network and security data. According to its privacy policy, retention periods depend on operational and security purposes, the type and scope of the data and legal obligations. I do not create additional access logs. Details of Cloudflare's own processing and retention periods are in its privacy policy linked above. Local app data, backups and recordings remain on your computer until you delete them.
Provision of data
You are not required to create an account or send me personal information. Technical connection data is necessary to deliver requested pages, files or updates. Without this connection, the relevant request cannot be fulfilled. Local app features do not require you to upload match data to me.
Your rights
Where the applicable legal conditions are met, you have the right of access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction (Art. 18) and data portability (Art. 20). Where processing relies on your consent, you may withdraw it at any time for the future. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing before it. Contact the address above to exercise your rights. I generally respond to requests within one month. I will inform you of any legally permitted extension and the reason for it.
Objection to legitimate interests
Under Art. 21 GDPR, you may object to processing based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR for reasons relating to your particular situation. An email to the address above is sufficient.
You may also lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. In Austria, this is the Datenschutzbehörde (Data Protection Authority), Barichgasse 40-42, 1030 Vienna.
Automated evaluations
The app calculates and displays game statistics. I do not use these data to make decisions based solely on automated processing that have legal or similarly significant effects on you within the meaning of Art. 22 GDPR.
Changes
This policy will be updated if data flows, providers or features change. The information above about previous rank lookups also applies to older versions already installed.
